Elderly Challenge - Observation 3

The elderly have a lot of problems going out as they have eye problems or even handicapped which may affect them when going out. The elderly who have eye problems causes them to not be able to see signs, words, numbers or buttons, the problem with that is that if they cannot see the signs thus misleading them to another place instead of the
place they wanted to go to. The elderly who are handicapped will have problems going to the place they want to go as using a wheelchair or walking aid would be hard for them to use by themselves. The solution for that is to let the elderly have a caretaker to help guide them to the places they want to go.

Another problem that the elderly have when wanting to go out is to have to use the elevator. The elderly who have eye problems cannot see the numbers, thus resulting them to not be able to go back to their house or go out. The elderly who are handicapped cannot reach the buttons thus having the same problem as the elderly who have eye problems. The solution for the eye problem is to add braile to the buttons thus allowing them them to be able to feel and know the numbers. The solution to the handicapped problem I found out in my grandmother's house where the numbers are actually not so high up thus allowing the handicapped to reach the numbers.
