Elderly Challenge - Observation 1

The elderly faced a lot of problems regarding what they are going to do in the kitchen. The most common faced problem was with regards with the cooking problem. Most of them, since of their ages, are usually frail and weak, thus resulting in them having difficulty cooking, and thus have to buy food from the coffee shop and the food in the coffee shops are not adjusted to some of their illness and cannot eat some types of food. The most logical solution is to either send the elderly to an old folk's home, which is not fair for the elderly, or to hire a maid to help the elderly in their problems, but it may be costly and thus some people would rather send their elderly to the old folk's home, even though it also needs money but costs lesser then hiring a maid, but the elders' children or grandchildren did not think for their parents or grandparents, who raised them up and gave everything they wanted, and yet did that to them, it is like closing them to a prison, and only can move around in that specific confined space. So, I feel that the if we have to choose one of the two ways, I would rather give more money and hire a maid to take care of the elderly.

Another problem is the floor on the kitchen might be slippery because of the toilet usually located near the kitchen, thus they might slip and fall down and cause an injury. Like the cooking problem, they would also take either way and thus might have chosen the old folk's home choice. Unlike the last problem, I would most likely have chosen to send them to the old folk's home because they will take better care for the elderly then the maid would, and usually people would want the best for their parents or grandparents, thus they might send the elderly to the old folk's home.

All together, problems in the kitchen are big and both the elderly and the caretakers should help them and make sure the problems they had are resolved, and the people have to make sure they made the right decision in the end and will not regret anything they did, and have to stick by their decisions because the elderly are important like us and they are we should treat them with utmost respect and respect the decisions they made and the decisions we made.
